the General Manager of the consultancy, a Chartered
Town Planner and Civil Engineer with a specialisation
in transport planning and with many years of

Loizou ( CV), a Chartered
Surveyor and a Land Evaluator and Dr Achilleas
Kalopedis ( CV),
a Civil/Hydraulics Engineer. |
The consultancy was established in the year 2000
with the aim of offering mainly town planning expertise.
Transport and environmental planning and management
are an inherent part of town and regional planning
and A.L.A Planning Partnership widened its consultancy
scope to include advice on transport and environmental
planning. At this moment it is one of the biggest
consultancy firms in Cyprus offering the full range
of regional/strategic, town, transport and environmental
planning. Despite its recent establishment, the
consultancy, has an impressive track record of projects
ranging from big government contracts on sustainable
development and transport planning, preparation
of local plans, planning objections and public hearings
to environmental and traffic impact studies for
private and public sector projects.
The key to our approach is the understanding of
the specific characteristics of each project and
the requirements of each client, so that the offered
services are tailored to meet the demands of each
project and each client.

Expert Resources
The permanent planning team of the Consultancy
includes a chartered town planner/civil
engineer, a hydraulics engineer, a chartered
surveyor and land evaluator, a chartered transport
planner, a junior environmental scientist, a
junior town planner and a secretary.
All personnel are following a professional development
scheme to ensure that the services offered are
of the highest standard and according to the
recent developments in the fields of expertise.
According to the specific needs of each project
undertaken by the Consultancy, professional
experts are drawn from a pool of external Cypriot,
Greek and British permanent associates with
disciplines such as environmental engineering,
transport planning, architecture, geology etc.
Additionally, A.L.A Planning Partnership has
association agreements with the international
consultancies, Colin Buchanan and Partners,
Trademco-SGI and Wardell-Armstrong,
which provide a wide range of professional services
in the fields of transport planning, town planning
and environmental planning and management.
